Dr.R.Lakshmi :: I Started my career as optometrist in one of the Asia's famous Eye hospital "Sankara Nethralaya" which also known as "The temple of the Eye". Practiced there for few years and tested more than 25000 patients in and around. Over the time, realized that this medication is not yielding any good or permanent results for most of the complicated eye diseases. So I asked my friend T.S Anand and researched a lot on this finally we identified that Acupuncture method for any Eye diseases. With lot of encouragement and support from my husband
Mr. K. Ramakrishnan of sree surya opticals and as per the guidence from Vice President of ATAMA (All Tamilnadu Acupuncture and Alternative Medical Association) prof Dr. T. Armstrong Rajsingh Ph.D., M.D (Acu) DHMS, BEHMS, DNYS, DMT, CCCT, M.A, trained well about acupuncture and alternative Medicines under the best Acupuncture doctors Prof. Dr. Sabir Abdullah, M.D (Acu) - (President of ATAMA) and Dr. S. Khathija Nachiar, B.Sc (Phy), M.D (Acu) Ph.d (Acu).

Admired by the ultimate aim "create drug-less world before 2030" of Prof. Dr. C. Abdullah Sehu (founder of ATAMA), we strongly believed that only Acupuncture therapy can cure all kind of Eye diseases without any side effects and medicines. We have made lot of research and treated all the Eye diseases successfully in Acupuncture therapy.

We published our first book about "Opto Acupuncture cure Without Medicine" on Jan 2016. Dr.T.S.Anand and
Dr.R.Lakshmi obtained a doctorate in "Opto Acupuncture Therapy Cure in India without Medicine" in International open University Colombo, SriLanka.

Ptosis

The primary symptom of ptosis is a visible drooping of the upper eyelid. Ptosis can affect children and adults at any stage of life. You may notice symptoms in one or both eyes. People who are born with drooping eyelids have congenitalptosis

Cystoid Macular edema

Cystoid macular edema or CME, is a painless disorder which affects the central retina or macula. When this condition is present, multiple cyst-like (cystoid) areas of fluid appear in the macula and causeretinal swelling or edema.

Double vision through acupuncture therapy

Double vision in one eye is known as monocular double vision. Double vision continues when the unaffected eye is covered, but you should be able to see normally when the affected eye is covered. It can be caused by: an irregularly shaped cornea (astigmatism), which is a refractive error.

Amblyopia

Amblyopia, also called lazy eye, is a disorder of sight due to the eye and brain not working well together. It results in decreased vision in an eye that otherwise typically appears normal. It is the most common cause of decreased vision in a single eye among children and younger adults.

VI Nerve palsy

Sixth nerve palsy, or abducens nerve palsy, is a disorder associated with dysfunction of cranial nerve VI (the abducens nerve), which is responsible for causing contraction of the lateral rectus muscle to abduct (i.e., turn out) the eye. The inability of an eye to turn outward results in a convergent strabismus or esotropia of which the primary symptom is diplopia (commonly known as double vision) in which the two images appear side-by-side. The condition is commonly unilateral but can also occur bilaterally.

Uveitis

The most common type is an inflammation of the iris called iritis (anterior uveitis).

Symptoms include redness, pain, light sensitivity, blurred vision and dark floating spots in the field of vision.

Macular degeneration

Macular degeneration causes loss in the centre of the field of vision. In dry macular degeneration, the centre of the retina deteriorates. With wet macular degeneration, leaky blood vessels grow under the retina.

Blurred vision is a key symptom.

Age related Macular degeneration

Macular degeneration causes loss in the centre of the field of vision. In dry macular degeneration, the centre of the retina deteriorates. With wet macular degeneration, leaky blood vessels grow under the retina.

Blurred vision is a key symptom.

A special combination of vitamins and minerals (AREDS formula) may reduce disease progression. Surgery may also be an option.

Nystagmus

Nystagmus is a condition where the eyes move rapidly and uncontrollably.

The movement can vary between slow and fast and usually happens in both eyes. The eyes may shake more when looking in certain directions. People with nystagmus may tilt or turn their head to see more clearly. This helps to slow down the eye movements.

Retinal detachment

Retinal detachment is an emergency. Tissue at the back of the eye pulls away from a layer of blood vessels that provide necessary oxygen and nourishment.

The appearance of many bits of debris (floaters), sudden flashes of light or a shadow in the vision field are symptoms.

Squint

A permanent deviation in the direction of the gaze of one eye.

look at someone or something with one or both eyes partly closed in an attempt to see more clearly or as a reaction to strong light.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) is the more advanced form of the disease. At this stage, new fragile blood vessels can begin to grow in the retina and into the vitreous, the gel-like fluid that fills the back of the eye. The new blood vessel may leak blood into the vitreous, clouding vision.

Dry eyes

The eye may become dry, red and inflamed. The main symptoms are discomfort and sensitivity to light.

Optic Atrophy

Optic atrophy is a condition that affects the opticnerve, which carries impulses from the eye to the brain. (Atrophy means to waste away or deteriorate.)Optic atrophy is not a disease, but rather a sign of a potentially more serious condition.

Retinitis Pigmentosa

The first signs of retinitis pigmentosa usually occur in early childhood, when botheyes typically are affected. Night vision can be poor, and the field of vision may begin to narrow. Pigmentation in the retina is a sign that light-sensing cells are deteriorating, so it becomes very difficult to see in dim light.

Glaucoma

With all types of glaucoma, the nerve connecting the eye to the brain is damaged, usually due to high eye pressure.

Hyperopia

Hyperopia, also known as farsightedness, is a common type of refractive error where distant objects may be seen more clearly than objects that are near. However, people experience hyperopia differently. Some people may not notice any problems with their vision, especially when they are young.

Myopia / Near-sightedness

Near-sightedness tends to run in families.

Faraway objects appear blurry. The condition may develop gradually or rapidly.

Fundus of patient with retinitis pigmentosa, mid stage. (Bone spicule-shaped pigment deposits are present in the mid periphery along with retinal atrophy, while the macula is preserved although with a peripheral ring of depigmentation. Retinal vessels are attenuated.)
